Healthcare Outreach Programme

We're looking for healthcare professionals from a range of backgrounds to join an inspiring team of fellow medical volunteers on our life-changing Healthcare Outreach Programme. Launched in 2011 with the help of an inspirational travel nurse, this hugely successful programme has so far delivered essential medical care and treatments to over 27,000 people living below the poverty line in rural Kenya.

 

As a volunteer, you will spend two weeks based at one of our spectacular Kenyan camps, using your skills to help run free community clinics. You will be playing a key role in providing vital care to those that usually have no access to medical treatment, offering consultations, treatments, medication and testing for a whole range of conditions.

Who can volunteer?

Roles are available in a range of specialisms, including GPs, Nurses, Physiotherapists, Eye Specialists, Nutritionists, Sexual Health Nurses, Dentists, Dental Assistants and many more. We also have a limited number of support roles for non-medically qualified volunteers.

When is it?

2 weeks trip normally departing March and November.
