Beng Mealea English Classroom and English Teacher

CAMBODIA

English has become an important second language in Cambodia, as the country begins to integrate into global society where it is widely used as the language for business, education and development. Today, the ability to speak English continues to represent hope for a better future and solves common issues within the country.

At the moment, the school doesn’t have an English teacher nor the space to facilitate lessons for the children and the community, so Camp Cambodia has employed a local English teacher to teach at our camp.

In 2015, land for a dedicated English classroom was kindly donated by the monks at the local pagoda and we started work.
