Sasenyi Primary School Development

There are currently 720 students enrolled at Sasenyi Primary where facilities are woefully inadequate; there are only 10 functioning classrooms and eight teachers. The infrastructure is very dilapidated and erosion from seasonal flooding threatens the structural integrity of the buildings.

Additionally, literacy levels among the poor are among the lowest bracket in Kenya, with as few as 37 per cent of females possessing basic literacy skills.
